It’s not addictive in any way, so it’s real easy to quite. The problem is life is totally boring and if it was not such a hassle to buy and smoke being high all the time would be a great idea.

I’ve quit smoking numerous times and it was easy. Of course, I smoke cigarettes also, so whenever I wanted a joint I smoked a cig instead (i know, real healthy, right?) Every time you have the urge to toke, just occupy yourself with something else. Go for a walk, chew some gum, eat a popsicle, whatever it takes! Soon enough you’ll enjoy the increase in energy and drive and won’t even want it anymore. Good Luck!

Not as hard as you think. The hardest part is trying to fall asleep at night, and finding something to do with your free time.
Coping with always wanting to get high? Nothing to cope with, just alot of free time and boredom.
POSTER NUMBER 1. Marijuana and heroine are nothing alike. A person that is addicted to heroine could possible DIE if they do not get their next fix. Their body’s literally require it to keep on functioning. So saying all it takes to quit ANYTHING is will power isnt as true as you made it seem. There are addictions that require more than will power to stop.

Yes you are rights. You have to be psychologically strong to put a stop on yourself.
I know a few tips that will help you to To Quit Smoking Marijuana:
* Avoid circumstances and situations that provoke you to take marijuana
* Whenever you desire to take it use some chewing herbal substitutes that are easily available
* Try to go for walk with your pet or family, walks reduces stress and is healthy for you
* Breathe deep and do some breathing exercises and workouts
* Consult a doctor and go for proper checkup
* Always motivate yourself, say to yourself “I Can Do It”
* Indulge yourself in sports and activities that you enjoy the most
* Remove all those products and cigarettes around you that remind you of smoking marijuana.
* Take family support and advice
* Remember your condition when you take marijuana the ill effects and say never again you will go through it
Quitting effort and determination should come from within. Never feel shy or hesitate after quitting marijuana, go out, socialize meet friends and family. Always admire your effort that you are putting to free yourself from the addiction. If your effort is not very effective then get in touch with organizations and health centers that can assist you. Always stick to your decision and think positive.

Haha trust me… to quit marijuana is easy. It’s just as easy as this example:
If you live 100 ft. from a hot dog stand and they sell the best dogs you’ve ever eaten in your life. Ofc you will eat their food a lot more than other food, it saves you time, perhaps money and it’s just really really good… and you might eat more than you know you should. but you’re not addicted to the hot dogs are you? Nope:P
So that’s why it’s not even mentally addictive, it’s just mildly habituating… So when people try marijuana they feel so damn good, because it IS… And they probably want to get high later… but they don’t have the need to get high. There’s the difference.
So to answer your question. I smoked pot almost every day in 09… My grades were good (could’ve been better) and and i am working too. I decided to quit it in February and start to smoke again later this year because my body built up a tolerance to it… which means the effects were weakened a lot. Well i just stopped smoking it… and that was it. easy
Oh, and one more thing… I got a nightmare that night, but that’s about it:P

I think it’s not that hard to quit i used to smoke everyday and i had to quit because i got caught by my dad, i mean yeah it was hard to think that i wasnt gonna feel high like that for a long time which sucks because in my opinion it is the best high in the world. it is better for u then cigarettes and it is much easier to function on than being drunk.. and i agree post number 1 my sister used to be addicted to meth and she has been clean for 6 years and she still gets urges now like she needs her next fix but she just fights it off marijuana is not what so ever addictive its just ppl get addicted mentally to the high. in my opinion marijuana isn’t even a drug it is a natural plant and should be legalized.

First of all, that’s not ALL that we want to do. Im a mother, and I smoke weed. I also have a great job, so I don’t need to quit right now. I don’t want to get high ALL DAY. I do everything that you do, except I have more fun doing it. Smoking weed doesn’t make anyone a bad parent either. I am with my son 24/7. I raised him from birth, and I continue to do so. I watch his every move, and make sure he is constantly being taken care of. I am a better mom when I am high, because it doesn’t make me so strict. I am more easy going, and I have more fun with my son. And I don’t bring it around his presence. I find it way better than being fucked up from alcohol or pills. When I found out I was pregnant, I quit instantly without hesitation, for the health of my baby. It was easy. And I had people smoking pot around me everyday, and I never gave in. People think they know about marijuana, but they don’t. If you have never smoked it, then you don’t know what you are talking about. Marijuana shouldn’t be considered a drug, because it is a plant. Plain and simple

most rehab attendants go to therapy, just to talk about their issues while they take a tolerance break… that has been said to do the most good.

ive been smokeing all day every day for 2 years. and today i decided i was done because i looked at all the problems its caused me. But its definately not easy. Even though its not physically addictive it can still be mentally. The thing that makes it hard for me is i look back at all the people ive met, ill the friends ive made all the cool things ive done with it. i look back at these things and it almost makes me cry. In the end it will be worth quitting though.
