Breaking any addiction takes time only, if its and addiction that enters the body it may take longer as the substance may alter the chemistry in your body and stay there longer, or at times forever. Like watching a very scary movie, for the 1st few days you might notice you get the creeps when you try to sleep but after a while you become less scared and eventually forget about the issue.
