I am a professional person I have a mortgage and I have been on heroin for 6 years, there is a misconception but then again its hard, its hard tryin to control heroin and it does get the better of you. I just work hard now and hope that one day I can find the strength to get off it……….for good
get on methadone- it stabilizes your addiction to once per day. no more sickness and desperation. i used to be told by other addics i used with “dont get on that shit its harder to quit.. it eats at ur bones” this n that. both are BS! right now im at 30ml a day down from 135ml. been clean for almost a year n 1/2. n for the record all the ppl that kept telling me not to go on this program are still using. cutting back on heroin yourself doesnt work, i tried. im so glad i found this program
Its so strange how words of truth push me further into the dark…I think that the way these movies were made was indeed for people who havent tried it….and do you want to know why? Because this movie only makes us (and we know who we are) feel like there are others…its not so bad were not alone.
This video is useless. It was clearly designed to stop people starting to take heroin, rather than to help people get off heroin. It’d be better if the people gave their experiences of withdrawal and what are the best ways to quit heroin. People on heroin already know how bad it is.
This video is part of a series looking at addiciton treatment and recovery. If you look through the rest of the wiredinrecovery footage then you will see that people do talk about the ways that they have overcome addiction.Hope this helps
bummer.but, good to see these people getting their shit together.
