Millions of people are hopelessly addicted and want to quit but can’t. The addiction is so bad that even all their friends dying from lung cancer doesn’t stop them. Many people near death still have to light up to the very end.
I smoke about 2 packs a day. If there was a rehab center for stopping smoking, I would definitely check in. What are your thoughts on this?

I have a friend who died due to the adverse effects of heroin. For a time, I was just angry at drugs, angry at the people who were doing drugs. Don’t they know that they’re hurting their loved ones by doing that? But then I realized that my anger won’t do me any good at all. So now I have decided to help out. I’m just going to do this for a really close friend of mine. The thing is, he was really against drugs before. He would always look out for us and make sure that we weren’t making friends with the “bad guys” (those who will influence us to take drugs). Yet, it was him who did that. He started neglecting himself since he and his girlfriend broke up. I didn’t know that he was heartbroken– not to mention stupid– enough to start taking drugs just because she had found someone else.
