Addictions Therapist

Well… she’s 22 years of age right now… she’s been doin heroin since she was 14 with no intention to stop ( that i know of) . She’s been hospitalized in the past ( claims she died once and had an out of body experience) but thats when she said she use to abuse it and just do ti for the high. Now she says she can’t stop because if she does she’ll get sick. I’ve noticed she doesn’t do it just cuz she wants to get high she’ll do it cuz she’s in so much pain. I also notice its only when she runs out of methodone she does it. She says she only duz it when she doesnt have any methodone. She claims she never does over 2 “bags”. She claims with her marital problems ( yes shes married with 2 kids) and family issues its the only thing that makes her feel “good”. Our friend said She once shot up ( she does it in her arm) and said ” man this feels so good i’ln never stop doing this” But she acts like around me that she has to do it because her body is so use to it now and she has no money to get better ( her husband doesnt even know). So i always wonder do you think this will be her demise? If so do you think soon or later? Itscares me. No matter what u say the girls not gonna stop. She’s been on it for almost 10 years now! Where do u thinks she’s goin based on these stories? What is this going on in this heroin addict’s mind? also… her mom and older sister are also addicts…ugh. Its nasty.
