How Important Is Physio Therapy After A Complete Knee Joint Replacement Surgery ?

After the surgery, due to pain physio therapy was not correctly followed leading to slightly bend of the knee say 15 degrees, after 5 weeks does the condition improves with physio therapy ? If not then what is the best alternate remedy ?
