My husband go to physical therapist 3 or 4 times a week for about two months now..As soon as we arrived at the table where the patients sits the assistants or therapist are only friendly to the patient ( my husband ) and they seems to ignore the wife..Is this normal?

I have been suffering from headaches, my doctor recommended massages.
I made an appointment for thursday (today) and then another therapist got me in on tuesday.
I went for a massage on tuesday, then I pulled my neck yesterday. I still have an appointment for a massage today with another therapist.
Is there any harm in that. – 2 massages in one week?

I’m studying Kinesiology and now it’s time to decide on a specific area I’d do. So I’ve been thinking along the line of personal trainer to exercise physiologist…and then i thought of occupational therapist. I thought of this because it seems like one of those noble and rewarding careers…and not a desk job either. While being a strength coach might be more exciting than working with disabled people, the later would be deem more benificial for the world.
Most important…i’m now seeing that OT is becoming like PT and they both are having students get a Master’s Degree (is this mandatory?). And that is not up my alley at all. I want to see what my opportunities are with a Bachelor’s degree only. I suppose i could be an “assistant” whatever that means.
Do i have to be in a “OT program”..like kinesiology isn’t enough?

Hi, I am thinking about pursuing the career of a massage therapist. However, I am still learning about what the career entails in all aspects, but I have a specific question regarding the physical requirements of a job. What are those? Must you be a certain height, weight, etc.? This is a funny question, but what about the size of your hands? And you tell them you dont care what happens to yourself and you think deserve the bad. And your therapist tells you that she feels bad for you and that she would feel very bad if something happens to you like if you died. Just because the therapist is telling her patient that, does that means that she cares for whatever happens to her patient.

I have been seeing a female therapist since Nov.2.2007. And i developed a crush on her.
