I’m not saying who do drug are bad pp. I just don’t want to encourage people to sell drugs. Now many pp die because using drugs, selling drugs, also some pp who don’t do it but die becasue of it. How can I help thoes people? In fact, I’ d never thought about helping pp. & I never cared about it until I found someone that I loved who addicted to weed.

I smoke weed occasionally (weekends). Since I only smoke on the weekends I had urges to smoke weed during the weekdays. It a mind urge, like I really want to smoke but its not a must and usually the urge dies down after the first few days of smoking. Now I have NEVER smoke a cigarettes and dont plan to because they are bad for you. I was just wondering how being addicted to weed compares with cigarettes?
I know some people that can go months without smoking weed and some people who cannot go a day without smoking a pack of cigs
How do I get through to an adolescent that weed is terrible when they continue to smoke it?

I know someone who continues to smoke weed even after talking to her and educating her about the consequences. Obviously, it’s illegal, but I’m worried more about her future. I don’t want this to become a huge addiction and jump start usage of other drugs. Please help!!

he doesn’t just smoke, he’s totally addicted… he’s lost jobs over it, can’t go a single day without it, and he’s about to lose his girlfriend (he says he loves her but she can’t take the addiction anymore)
he has similar problems with respecting authority (like police), stopping alcohol consumption at a reasonable level when he goes to the city/parties, etc.
his little brother just got expelled because of weed he gave him
and now my friend’s daughter is growing up, so soon she’ll recognize what he’s doing – or worse, eventually start smoking with/because of him, and/or get expelled herself. she’s almost 5 now, but he’s made no efforts to quit, and it’s been 10 years of smoking for him.
at this point, he’s burned so many bridges that a group intervention is not an option, and i dont have the money or legal backing to put him in rehab – he wont go. he admits he has a problem, but he doesn’t seem to consider it much of an issue, and says i’m persecuting him whenever i tell him i dont like him smoking.
what can i do???
